JESSIE NAGEL

Special Agent Jessie Nagel is a co-founder of Hype -- a sassy boutique communications agency dedicated to the entertainment industry as a community and promoting the creative process.

In tandem with her Special Agent role Hype, Jessie is a Co-Founder of Green The Bid, a non-profit organization, educational resource, and community dedicated to transitioning the global advertising and production industry to sustainable and regenerative practices. She also serves on the West Board of the AICP (the Association of Independent Producers) and leads the annual AICP Gives Food + Goods Drive and is a member of AICP’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee.

At the time when branded content was a new buzzword, Jessie channeled her passion for film into co-founding HypeFest — a short subject film festival that showcased branded content, advertising, music videos and promos. The festival enjoyed a five year run and brought together creatives to network and experience engaging content. A founding member of Women in Animation, Jessie was the editor for the organization’s newsletter “Work in Progress” for nearly 10 years. She also helped produce the indie ‘zine “World Famous Crazy Wild” which had an admittedly small but loyal fan base and a random publishing schedule.

Over the years, Jessie has spoken on and curated panels for the Palm Springs International Film Festival, AICP, IPRA, Advertising Week, YDA, the Tellys, and more on a variety of industry-related topics.

DOMINIQUE MAYORGA

Born and raised in the San Fernando Valley with dreams of building a future as a creative, Dominique Mayorga pursued just about everything under the sun (yes, even door-to-door sales) before finding her way back to her first found love, writing. Used previously as a form of self-expression through poetry, music and creative writing, Dominique was presented with her first peek into the PR world when working social media under the Head of Communications for several event spaces including Wisdome LA and the Museum of Selfies. There, she made the decision to pursue Journalism during what felt like an eternal search for a fulfilling area of study throughout her college career. Ultimately receiving her B.A. in Public Relations from California State University, Northridge, she found the perfect fit and a newfound home at Hype.

Outside of work, Dominique has devoted much of her adolescence to all things music related. A true music connoisseur, she spends her free time digging through vinyl, curating playlists, DJing special events on the weekends and receiving complaints from her next-door apartment neighbors to ‘turn it down.’ She also enjoys exploring different cities and states for ‘must try’ foodie spots and will never turn down a good cup of coffee!

HYPE CREATIVE

LOGAN STOODLEY

A writer at heart, Logan Stoodley joined Hype because he couldn’t pass up the opportunity to work for a communications agency that would describe itself as “sassy.” His impish delight from writing almost 100 tweets in a fictitious language for a social campaign are a testament to the joy he finds in the creative opportunities that arise from collaborations with clients. In addition to social media, Logan’s prior work in the entertainment industry has provided him with experience in development, production, and post-production.

Growing up, he would often declare “I’m going to make a movie about [blank].” Ultimately, Logan pursued a degree in film and foolishly moved to Los Angeles after graduating. Spurred on by the unyielding desire to create, when he isn’t rewriting that same damned pilot script for the fifth time, you can find him at home annoying his roommates by shouting at the TV screen while watching hockey games.
