When folks watch a film or television show, they often wonder "where did they get that couch?"" or "I'd love to find that carpet for my room!" To accommodate the wish list, the Set Decorators Society of America (SDSA) has launched "Decoratorresources.com. The site, revised from an older, often visited page on the SDSA website, was officially launched October 23rd, 2015.
The new DecoratorResources.com is a direct link to vendors who supply entertainment industry set decorators with a wide assortment of interior and exterior decor, design services and equipment.
“These are SDSA Business Members, many of whom also provide goods and services to the general public. Their products range from event seating to custom furniture manufacturing and everything in between,” says Shirley Starks, president of the SDSA during the launch of the site. “This is a resource SDSA members have trusted for years and we’re glad to now make it available to the public.”
The SDSA Business Members featured in DecoratorResources.com include both national and international vendors. The site features 15 unique categories including: "Alley &*Street Dressing", "Kitchen & Bath," and "Product Placement." The site is free to access and available for public use.
