Many people drive cars and big trucks, but only a few get called to do Truck, Bus & Car work in films like Thelma & Louise, Terminator II, Fast & Furious 5, 6 & 7, Men in Black III, Captain America 2 and the soon to be released “Monster’s Truck” from Paramount. Mike is the first person in the US to intentionally drift a semi and his YouTube video’s “Size Matters” 1 & 2, collectively have over 4-million views. His first job as a stunt driver was in 1977 at 21 years old in “Drive-in” style, low budget car chase movies. In between features, he worked for Ronnie Ross building stunt cars, Roger George Special Effects and two different picture car companies, before starting Picture Vehicles Unlimited in 1982.

He was an original member of Driver’s, Inc., and has Stunt Coordinated or driven in over 500 national commercials in the last 33 years and more than a few have won Clio’s or have been featured Super Bowl spots. In that same time, Picture Vehicles Unlimited provided vehicle related services for well over 10,000 different projects.

Mike is a life long racer. He set a one-way record on the Bonneville Salt Flats at 225.675 in a 21,000 pound Freightliner. He has 7-records in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb 2-records in New Zealand’s Queenstown Hill Climb and one racing the Mount Washington Hill Climb, all in race prepped semi trucks. He has raced in the Baja 1000, the Mexican 1000 and many stock car, road race and vintage motorcycle events since the 1970’s. Mike is currently a founding partner in “ChampTruck”  www.champtruck.us.com, a new for 2015 semi-truck road racing series.

He recently sold Picture Vehicles to focus more on stunt driving and coordinating, but he still keeps his race shop busy doing specialty and stunt vehicle sourcing and fabricating.
