The founder of Starling Productions, Robert Starling, is a veteran producer, cinematographer, Steadicam operator, aerial cinematographer, and FAA licensed drone pilot. Having worked in the cinematography industry for more than 30 years, he and his team have partnered with some of the largest companies and brands in the world, traveling throughout the United States and internationally for clients such as: DreamWorks, Honda, Viacom, Warner Bros, Hilton Hotels, Sony, HBO, Disney, MTV, Marriott Hotels, CBS, NBC and the BBC. Robert has had the opportunity to work with (and learn from) some of the most talented and esteemed producers, cinematographers, and Steadicam operators in the business; even being trained by the Steadicam inventor, himself, Garrett Brown!

Known in high school as “the camera guy,” Robert started a commercial photography and real estate publishing company at the age of 19. Over the course of three decades, he grew his business into the full-service video production company that it is today, helping clients to create award-winning video content for television, commercials, film, corporate branding and more.
