THE EQUIPMENT

The Ultimate Arm™ was designed and developed for extreme

operating conditions and high-image stability. Unlike other camera cranes,

the front and counter-balanced rear move independently of one another, allowing the crane arm to absorb the frequency and reduce the oscillating effect that often plagues other arms. A driving force in the film and television industry, The Ultimate Arm™ is widely recognized, award-winning and prized for its ease of operation and flexible use.

The Arm has been tested in the toughest of conditions, from 130-degree heat in Death Valley to 40 below zero in Alaska, without ever losing its ability to perform complete 360 degree movement ( in less than four seconds ) at vehicle speeds of 120 miles an hour.

The Ultimate Arm™ can be mounted on boats, trains, cars, bikes or whatever your visual sequence requires. It fits with any Mitchell Mount Head in the industry, and comes equipped with quick-change extensions that can be retrofitted in minutes. The crane can be shipped all over the world and has been used by the finest crews in the industry in the most exciting scenes; from the exhilarating Bat-Mobile sequence in “The Dark Night”, to the high-octane chase scenes in “James Bond 007”, and many more.
THE COMPANY

Founded in 2003, Adventure Equipment, LLC was created as a venture dedicated to capturing stable images for film and television, without productions having to make concessions to terrain, weather or speed. The Ultimate Arm™ was born out of this dedication and a passion for pushing the limits.
